Rediscovering My Love for Pasta

A few years back, I would eat any pasta dish without question. I just loved pasta. I honestly do not know what happened with my taste buds, because right now, I'll eat anything other than pasta. Probably because of eating too much of it before? I don't know. Anyway, a few days ago I went out with a friend and, I guess you already know what happened. We ate pasta. After that I feel like I've rediscovered my love for pasta. Because of that, I feel like cooking some when able. I've listed below some pasta recipes that I would like to try my hand on.

Here are 15 Shrimp Pasta Recipes To Try:

If you've already tried making one of these, I'd love to know how they turned out!

Question:

Do you love pasta? What's your favorite dish?

Ginger Miso Soba Soup

I absolutely love Japanese food! Not only do they taste great, but it's also light on the tummy. So even if you eat a lot, you don't feel bloated. I dunno if it's just me...

I've never really tried anything Japanese at home. But I'm sure I saved a Chicken Terriyaki recipe, however I do not recall printing it... and I never had the chance to try making one. So excuse me for using my blog in bookmarking this Ginger Miso Soba Soup Recipe from Fork Knife Swoon. Ugh, I can't wait to try this out. It looks absolutely gorgeous and healthy too!

Before I end this post, a random question: what is your favorite dish?

English Toffee

Ever since I've tried my hand in cooking, I feel like I can *cough* cook anything *cough*. I regularly cook at home now, and I feel oh-so-proud whenever I get compliments in my cooking. However it stings whenever there are criticisms... but that doesn't stop me from wanting to be better. Desserts are my biggest frustrations... to put it simply, I suck at it. But, somehow, I can't stop myself from downloading dessert recipes. And this gorgeous English Toffee is definitely my next project.

Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Bar
  • 3/4 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
