Elle Croatia January 2015: Pletivo U Srcu


According to Google Translate, Pletivo U Srcu means Knitting In The Heart. The translation doesn't make any sense and it's, most often-than not, off. But I somehow developed a bad habit of abusing Google Translate whenever I want to know the geist of things. Anyway, thank goodness a picture means a thousand words so even though I don't know what the title is all about, I can still enjoy the story of the editorial by just looking at it. And this one depicts a gorgeous albeit gloomy story.

    The style in all the pictures are stunning, right up my alley too. I especially love the cape coat in the first picture, it's so lovely! I've never understood about knitted wear in the past but now that I'm in Canada, it's the beat wear available in the winter. LOL!

    In Croatian language when something is in the heart, it means it is close to our heart, something we care about. Pletivo is a noun that can be translated as knit or knitted clothing...it refers to the items of clothing that are made by knitting. So, I guess in some ways this could be translated as ' we love knitted clothes' or something like that.
