Ginger Miso Soba Soup

I absolutely love Japanese food! Not only do they taste great, but it's also light on the tummy. So even if you eat a lot, you don't feel bloated. I dunno if it's just me...

I've never really tried anything Japanese at home. But I'm sure I saved a Chicken Terriyaki recipe, however I do not recall printing it... and I never had the chance to try making one. So excuse me for using my blog in bookmarking this Ginger Miso Soba Soup Recipe from Fork Knife Swoon. Ugh, I can't wait to try this out. It looks absolutely gorgeous and healthy too!

Before I end this post, a random question: what is your favorite dish?

  17. I really love japanese food. This looks amazing. If you are interested in learning new japanese recipes there is a really funny and cute youtube channel. I think its called cooking with dog. Don't worry it has nothing to do with cooking dog :D the short cooking episodes are being narrated by a dog while a japanese woman is cooking :D

  23. That looks amazing. I've never cooked Japanese before, actually once, I attempted a teriyaki stir-fry and it was horrible. Then again it was using a packet sauce which is probably why. I always find them so bland and gross. Re my favorite dish, well this isn't as fabulous or exotic but I love lasagne. It's the one thing I can't cook properly either. Mine always turn out so dry. Sad face.

  31. It looks gorgeous all right!! I love lots of food, especially the ones I can't eat (everything involving wheat...) or try not to eat (too much meat..), so think I can name Sushi (:) - here we are, Japanese food is the best when it comes to healthy, light but tasty ingredients!
